- Manage onboarding and offboarding practicalities related to all Emirati staff in the company.
- Manage all PRO related work/ documentation for all Emirati staff – work permit processing and cancellation, pension registration and deregistration etc.
- Develop and maintain accurate records, reports and documentation pertaining to Emiratization-related initiatives.
- Collaborate and work closely with the Government Relations team to achieve department objectives.
- Advises on UAE National employee relations issues.
- Builds and maintains relationships with external partners and vendors as required.
- Produces metrics and reporting analysis for senior management.
- Keeps abreast of developments in the field by engaging in professional development activities.
- Liaise with government authorities as and when required for employee and trade license matters.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of the Emiratization program at Maersk.
- Collaborate with management to develop and disseminate appropriate Emiratization policies and procedures and advise internal stakeholders on the proper application of relevant policies and procedures.
- Participate in the review of regulations, policies and procedures to ensure that any barriers for UAE National employment are identified and reduced or removed.
- Works closely with the HR and People leaders to ensure that UAE National recruitment and development programs are prioritized.
- Partners with the team on Emiratization campaigns and events within the community as required.
